Practice the path of yoga and meditation as taught by the great yoga master, Paramhansa Yogananda.  Paramhansa Yoganananda was the first great yoga master of India to live in the west for an extended period of time.  His Autobiography of a Yogi has been in print for over sixty years and has been named one of the top one hundred spiritual books of the century.  In addition to his well-known Autobiography, Yogananda wrote and taught extensively on concentration techniques, energizing exercises, affirmations, visualization, effective prayer, chanting, magnetism, Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga, and more. We utilize these rich how-to resources and those of Swami Kriyananda, Yogananda's direct disciple.

For those who have some experience with meditation (not necessarily extensive), we meet monthly in Saint Cloud, Minnesota to learn from and support each other, discuss yoga, and 

practice meditation as taught by Yogananda.     

   

 

 
Ralph and Diane Calabria lead the monthly meditations. Ralph began his study of the teachings of Yogananda in 1961, and began practice of Yogananda's most advanced technique of meditation, Kriya Yoga, in 1969. Diane began her study of Yogananda's teaching in 1982, and has practiced Kriya Yoga since 2004. She is also a Certified Ananda Yoga Teacher. Ralph and Diane completed Meditation Teacher Training at Ananda in October 2007.
 
We meet on the last Thursday of each month

Unity of Saint Cloud is just south of Division Street on 9th Avenue, near Lake George and downtown Saint Cloud. 
 
Cost:  first time is free!   Thereafter, $5 each month.   
 
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and bring a meditation cushion and shawl if you have them.
